Training in Concentration: A Tranquil Abiding Journey

SATURDAY, MARCH 22

Time: 11am – 2pm
Teacher: Kadam Kyle Davis
Cost: Free for members, $25 for non-members

Learning to concentrate in meditation revolutionizes our life. Our mind—and daily life—becomes ordered, clear and lucid. Instead of feeling like a burdensome, chaotic mess, our mind functions like a well-trained horse  we can use to go wherever we want and do whatever we want. Our anxiety is replaced by peace and contentment.

While this workshop can function as a stand-alone class, it is also the kick-off event for a six-week program of daily concentration practice which will conclude with a special weekend retreat at the center.

The aim is to attend this Saturday workshop, engage in daily practices to improve concentration over the six-week period, and celebrate with a feast of concentration at the retreat.

Our Sunday morning class will provide additional support for this program. Everyone is welcome!
